Last week Seymour Rudorfer, of Searingtown, died at home, after a long and valiant fight against lung cancer.

He is survived by his loving wife Anita and his devoted children Linda and Steve Lefton, Janet and Sam and Henry and Dora. He was the adored grandfather of Adam, Deena, Max, Ian, Samantha and Joey. He is also survived by his brother Alvin, sister Edith and was predeceased by Gloria and Morris Kaplan.

Seymour Rudorfer was a man whose smile and heart were as big as he was and his life and light will stand as an example to everyone from his immediate family to his friends and his long list of associates.

Seymour Rudorfer was a man whose generosity knew no bounds and whose leadership was both spirited and inspiring. His legacy is not only his family and friends, but also his many philanthropic deeds. He is truly a hard act to follow and he will be sorely missed.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations, in his name, to the UJA Foundation.
