Jeanette Rain Burtis, 88, of Easton, PA, formerly of Roslyn, died on Feb. 3, 1999. She was born on Sept. 12, 1910 in Roslyn, the daughter of the late Charles and Rosena Seaman Rain. She was the valedictorian of her graduating class at Roslyn High School and she was captain of the basketball team. She was a soloist and vocalist at various churches in the Roslyn area. Mother of Lee Summerall, Barbara Tagliarino and Virginia Burtis. Grandmother and great-grandmother. Arrangements were made by the Sell-Herron Funeral Home, Allentown, PA.
