The New York State Public High School Athletic Association has been sponsoring the Scholar/Athlete Team Award Program since 1991. To earn a team award, a certain required number of varsity athletes in each varsity sport must have their season's report card averages combined for a team average. If that average is 90 percent or greater, the NYSPHSAA declares the team a state scholar/athlete team. Each athlete on a scholar/athlete team who has an average of 3.3 or higher receives a NYSPHSAA scholar/athlete award pin. We are pleased and proud that five of our Fall Varsity teams received the award this season! The GPAs of the following athletes contributed to their team's award:
