As the varsity soccer regular season comes to an end, the boys and girls soccer squads at Roslyn High School have pulled off an impressive achievement: Both are regular season champions in their respective divisions.

The boys soccer team recently took first place in Nassau County's Conference B-I. The Bulldogs finished with a regular season record of 7-2-3 after ending the season with a 2-1 victory over Wantagh. Cris Wassner was the offensive star, scoring both Roslyn goals.

On the girls side, the Lady Bulldogs clinched their own regular season title last Tuesday by defeating Malverne, 3-0. The win gave Roslyn an impressive 11-1 mark overall. Michelle Sklar's first half goal got the Lady Bulldogs off to a running start. Rebecca Sahn was the game's defensive star, with seven saves in the net.
