Alice M. Spaulding, of Garden City and Roslyn Heights, died on July 29, 1998. Member of Trinity Episcopal Church of Roslyn. Daughter of the late Hugh Walter and Geraldine Trelawny. Sister of the late H. Kenneth and his wife Gwendolyn Spaulding. Aunt of Kenneth W. (Penelope) and Richard W. (Elizabeth) Spaulding. Great-aunt of Jacqueline, Kirby, Andrew and Peter Spaulding. Arrangements were made by the A.L. Jacobsen Funeral Home, Huntington Station. Memorial service. Her remains will be interred at Maple Grove Cemetery. Claire G. Julien, 77, died unexpectedly Sunday morning at her home in Naples, ME. She was born in Pawtucket, RI and attended schools there. She was a graduate of RI College. For many years Mrs. Julien taught elementary school in Roslyn. She retired and came to Naples in 1984. She was a member of the School Administration District 61 School Board in Naples, a past president of the Naples Business Association, the Lakes Region Community Theater and was a communicant of St. Joseph's RC Church in Bridgeton, ME. She married Joseph J. Julien in 1953. He died in 1984. From 1984 until her death she operated Fox Hollow Cabins in Naples with her son. She is survived by her son, J. John Julien of Naples. Arrangements were made by the Raymond-Wentworth Funeral Home, Bridgeton, ME. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph's Church with Rev. Joseph Whitlock officiating.
