I am writing this letter to endorse the candidacy of Judy Gallagher for a seat on the East Williston Board of Education. I have known Judy for 12 years. We met when our children were in first grade. Over the years, I have witnessed her passion for children and I have seen evidence of her commitment to our schools and students. She has worked relentlessly toward the enrichment of our district. Clearly, our students and their education are among her top priorities.

At the present time, the East Williston schools are at a critical juncture. Judy's analytical and calm approach to educational and fiscal issues will be a welcome addition to the current board. As a long-time business owner, Judy has first-hand knowledge of what it takes to run a successful enterprise. This experience has provided Judy with an expertise that is needed by the board.

I urge each of you to vote for Judy Gallagher on Tuesday, May 19 from 7 a.m. - 9 p.m. at the Wheatley gym. Our district will be the beneficiary.
