I am writing to support the candidacy of Ronna Niederman for the Roslyn School Board. I have known Ronna as a neighbor and a friend since she moved to Roslyn almost 15 years ago. During that time, she has energetically served the community and in particular has unselfishly given of her time in pursuit of quality education in our schools. She has served in various leadership positions including president of the PTA at both the middle school and the East Hills School. She has also worked with the Roslyn Hilltop Educational Foundation since its inception and has served as a member of its board of directors for the last two years.

I have interacted with Ronna on the Hilltop Foundation Board regularly since her election as a director. She is organized, responsible, capable and fair. She was the author of the various newsletters and press releases issued by the foundation. These publications have been instrumental in getting the message of the foundation out to the Roslyn community and in the success that the foundation has enjoyed.

Ronna is also the parent of two children who attend the Roslyn schools. I know that she is committed to quality public education for all Roslyn students. I am certain that she would be an asset to the school board and I enthusiastically support her candidacy.
