Congratulations to Wheatley senior, Carlos Mendes, who was named as the recipient of the Jim Steen Award as the outstanding boy soccer player in Nassau County. The Newsday article has been placed on the side table for members of the public.

Congratulations to the Wheatley boys and girls basketball teams who won the championships at the recently held Winter Basketball Tournament hosted by the East Williston schools. Andrew Anthony received the most valuable player award for the boys and Rebecca Landau received the most valuable player award for the girls.

Congratulations and good wishes go to the Wheatley Senior High School Mathletes who currently are tied for first place in Nassau County. We wish them well.
