William Keller of Port Washington has been appointed Vice President for Finance and Administration at Queens College, in Flushing, NY, effective July 15. Keller will manage the Budget Office, Buildings & Grounds, Campus Facilities, the Office of Converging Technologies (OCT), and Security.
Since 2005, Keller has held the same position at Kingsborough Community College. Keller holds a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, an M.A. in education from SUNY Albany, and an M.B.A. from New York University’s Stern School of Business. At the outset of his career, he taught social studies in metropolitan New York public schools. Keller has held positions at Deloitte & Touche, Lehman Brothers, and the New York City Health & Hospitals Corporation, and is a former Deputy Commissioner for the city’s Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications. He began his career at Kingsborough after five years with Connecticut-based Gartner Inc., a technology research and advisory firm.
