We want to take a moment to offer our heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in helping to revive the Port Washington Play Troupe Children’s Show. It was a dazzling production of Alice in Wonderland and we gratefully applaud the small army of hard working volunteers, parents and cast members whose dedication made it all possible. We also applaud all of you in the community who supported this endeavor by attending the show. The smiling faces, heartwarming laughter and rapt attention of the children in the audience certainly made all of our efforts worthwhile.
Special thanks is owed to Reverend Huntley and the St. Stephen’s Church Parish Family for their gracious hospitality and generous sponsorship, as well as to the Peter & Jeri Dejana Family Foundation and their representative, Jim Avena, for the incredible gift of the financial support necessary to carry the program into next year.
We are also greatly indebted to all the local dignitaries and political representatives who gave of their time and energy to deliver special encouraging messages and gifts that helped to make the 65th anniversary year production of Alice in Wonderland a truly memorable event: Dr. Kathleen Mooney, Ms. Sherri Suzzan, Mr. Vernon McDermott, Senator Martins, Legislator Wink, Mrs. Jon Kaiman, Councilwoman DeGiorgio, Mr. Peter Forman and Ms. Angela Susan Anton.
Congratulations and Thank You to All!
