Mildred A.  Herman

Mildred A. Herman, 94, died Jan. 8, 2010. Born in St. Louis, MO, she was a former resident of Port Washington. Mrs. Herman was an artist and sculptor before retiring. She was a former member of the Port Singers and the choir at the Community Synagogue in Sands Point. Wife of the late Sidney Herman. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Summer and Andrew Pramer of Belle Mead and Robin Herman and Paul Horvitz of Newton, MA; a brother Leonard Gold; and four grandchildren, Eva, Zachary, Emily and Erica. Arrangements were made by Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, Trenton, NJ. Funeral services at The Jewish Center, Princeton. The period of mourning was observed at the Pramer residence. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fire Island Lighthouse Fund.
