I was shocked to read that Dr. Gordon and/or the school board would offer $10,000 incentives to potential retirees for early notification. The teachers, having been treated well during their working years, should be quite willing to supply this information without cost. A token of a $50 gift card would have been sufficient, but $10,000? Is this how they are keeping the budget down?
