Port Washington Soccer Daredevils BU16 (Boys 16 years old and under) Travel Soccer team took first place in its division in the most recent season (this fall) in the competitive LIJSL (Long Island Junior Soccer League). With a record of 5 wins against only 1 loss and 3 ties, playing in Division 2 (out of 5 division levels) against teams from Nassau and Suffolk Counties, the team, consisting of all local Port Washington residents playing together since grade school, might find itself in the top Division 1 for the upcoming spring 2009 season.
