In support of 12/24 letter against Free Parking at Meters: With parking being scarce on Main Street and on Port Washington Blvd., I agree with Sunny Sanghavi, owner of Cigar King. With rents and taxes at a premium, business owners need to have a fair shake in the holiday cheer! The "win-win" by T.N.H. being spread around is in the form of a reprise of .25 cent per hour at parking meters. Keep the meters active and use the extra holiday money to pay for new parking solutions for local shoppers!
