The Annual Menorah Lighting at the LIRR sponsored by Chabad of Port Washington was held last Sunday. The kick-off for the Festival of Lights conveyed the spirit of the holiday as stated by Rabbi Palteil as it provided "warmth, joy, strength and inspiration" to all who attended this festive event. Recently, a dinner was hosted by the Nassau County Police Reserves at The Westbury Manor. All Nassau police officers who served on active military duty since 9/11/01 were honored.
