Now that the election is over and the political signs that were illegally placed on our Town, County and State roads are being removed, our elected officials should examine why they were not removed by the various highway departments. The signs created a distraction to motorists and fortunately were not the cause of serious accidents.
When I voted at the Methodist Church, it was distressing to see the Craig Johnson sign and campaign worker distributing election material on the church property in the parking lot. Every house of worship is non-political and the posting of that political sign was a disgrace and warrants an apology to the pastor and congregation.
