Chamber of Commerce Installs New Board of Directors
The Port Washington Chamber of Commerce held its annual installation of officers and directors at a special dinner at Ayhan's Fish Kebab Restaurant, 286 Main Street, on Sept. 17. On this occasion, the chamber bestowed its first ever Lifetime Membership Award to George T. Carr (Carr Office Chairs) and honored Sal Milazzo (Milazzo Insurance Agency) with a Certificate of Appreciation.

New Faces in Administrative Positions in Port Schools
The Port Washington School District is starting its new school year off with new faces in a number of positions including a new Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources and General Administration, a Director of ESL, Manorhaven School Principal, Director of Health, Physical Education and Athletics, Director of Creative Arts, Director of School Facilities and Operations and Director of Pupil Personnel Services.
