Martha B. Casey, of Oxford, PA, died on July 1, 2008. She graduated from both Smith College and Syracuse University; moving on to complete research in physiology at Cornell University Medical College. She had a long and happy marriage to her first husband, Alexander Macleod, and will be missed by her family and friends.

Her husband Richard P. Casey survives her as do her children, Jean H. Macleod and Alexander Macleod; grandchildren, Sandy and Maggie Cohen. A brother, Arthur James Barrett and sister, Dorothy B. Woods, are also left behind.

A memorial service will be held at the Oxford Health Center, 7 E. Locust St., Oxford, on July 19 at 11 a.m. Rev. Nancy Dean of the Unitarian Universalist Society of Mill Creek, DE, will officiate. Contributions in Martha's honor may be sent to Willow Tree Hospice, 100 Sycamore St., West Grove, PA 19390 or to the charity donor's choice. Logo
