I read Barton Sadowsky's recent letter asking for motorists to be more cognizant that there are runners on Port's roads. I agree! A bit of common courtesy goes a long way and may prevent an accident. Then I read Marshall Hubsher's letter today. Wow! I am amazed that people have an attitude that pedestrians/runners have no right to be on the town's public right of ways. Has it really come to the point that some elements of society believe that once inside their vehicles, all others have no rights? I've run thousands of miles on Port's roads and never enjoy dealing with folks like Marshall. He needs to take a deep breath, relax, practice some common courtesy to your fellow man, and share the road!
