The Port Washington Children's Center recently held a dedication ceremony to honor the memory of Barbara Kramer, a longtime member of the PWCC Board of Directors, who gave unstintingly of her time and talents to the center's early development.

Since 1990, the Barbara Kramer Award was presented to individuals who excelled in the field of childcare and educational charitable endeavors. Jan Barbieri and Arlene Labenson were recent past recipients. This year, the Barbara Kramer Funds were used to refurbish and upgrade the main office, including a new private space for confidential parent conferences.

The Port Washington Children's Center offers quality childcare for toddlers to children 12 years old, including accredited full-day preschool and after school KidsPort activities, plus full summer programs. PWCC is our community's only licensed not for profit childcare center.
