I live on Kirkwood Road in Manorhaven. It is a large three-family. It is a very nice street, except for one thing: this past summer, we have had nothing but helicopter and plane traffic. These helicopters come from all directions, some of them extremely low and, yes, my windows shake and the noise at times can be so loud you can't even hear your TV. Something needs to be done. These helicopters start very early in the morning and go sometimes to very, very late at night. Sometimes even until one or two in the morning. The we have the planes, the ones that circle, the ones that are taking off - the ones that are landing. Not too long ago, there was an emergency landing of a helicopter in Jericho - it's gonna happen. This past summer was just unbearable. I don't understand where it's all coming and going to - and why there is no regulation or consideration for any of us on the ground. Maybe with winter coming it will let up, but so far it has not. I do not know Mr. Coniglio - I have no degrees, but there is a problem here and someone has to look into it before there is a terrible accident.
