A wonderful schedule of events has been planned for Saturday, Oct. 6, the exciting 19th Pride in Port Celebration. This annual community-wide event is a day full of fun for residents of all ages.

The scheduled events include the following:

Pride in Port Parade at noon.

From Landmark on Main Street to Schreiber High School.

Marching bands, featuring our local schools and organizations.

Senior Citizen's Luncheon at 1 p.m in the Schreiber High School Student Cafeteria

Featuring the famous Vin Roddie at the piano and disco music with the Dance Machine.

Tickets are available from Dolores Holliday at the Manorhaven Senior Center, the parade grandstand or at the cafeteria.

Come and enjoy a good lunch and the entertainment!

Pride in Port Family Fun Day on Campus Drive following the parade (rain or shine)

Includes: castle bounce, dunk tank, games, face and pumpkin painting, music, refreshments, fun activities for all ages, karaoke, cotton candy, bucking bull, goodies for the kids and more!

Homecoming Football Game at 3 p.m.

Halftime ceremonies: 2007 Schreiber High School Athletic Hall of Fame Inductees and the introduction of the royal court.

High School Homecoming Dance from 7-10 p.m. in the Schreiber High School Student Cafeteria

Annual Pride in Port Dinner Dance at the Polish American Hall

Cocktail hours- 7-8 p.m. featuring "Great Tastes of Port"-delicious cuisines from many of Port Washington's "Great Purveyors of Food"

Dinner and dancing- 8 p.m. to midnight

Dinner provided by Shish Kebab and other local restaurants.

Music and entertainment featuring Juke Box Saturday Night.
