As congregants of the Reconstructionist Synagogue of the North Shore, I wish to thank School Board President Rob Seiden and the members of the Port Washington Board of Education, as well as Dr. Gordon, for their support in the wake of last weekend's hate crime against our synagogue. Although the acts which defiled our building were heinous, our congregation is strengthened and buoyed during this difficult time by the support from our neighboring communities.

In times like this we are reminded of how proud we are to live in Port Washington.
