    The Nassau County League of Women Voters (LWV) recently held its 22nd Annual Women's History Month Celebration and Dinner at the George Washington Manor in Roslyn.   • News: Important Information About the School Budget

    The State of New York has provided, through legislation in Chapter 61 of the Laws of 2006, for a new program to provide additional funding for building/capital projects that meet a set of criteria established by the State. Port Washington is eligible to be reimbursed for $606,539 in expenses. This item will be presented as Proposition #2 on the ballot during the school district budget vote on May 15. FULL STORY

    On Saturday, April 14, members of Schreiber's JV and Varsity softball teams hosted a clinic for the girls in the PYA softball program at Lions Field. Girls ranging in age from 5 to 12 worked side-by-side with the high school players, developing their softball skills. FULL STORY
