Mill Neck Manor School for the Deaf was established in 1951 to help deaf children unlock their potential through quality education. The school is part of the Mill Neck Family of Organizations, a not-for-profit group dedicated to serving deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals through educational, vocational and spiritual programs and services. In 1991, Mill Neck Manor expanded its services to the deaf community by opening the Early Childhood Center to provide services to children who are not hearing impaired, but who none-the-less have delayed development in speech, language and readiness skills. Most children who attend the program, graduate and attend regular kindergarten. For more information, please call 922-4100.
