Most people like to help others and support their community. And that is exactly the policy of Image Works (formerly Foto-60). However, this year the school district did not employ the services of Image Works in regard to graduation pictures at Schreiber High School.
The photo company's package that was chosen is actually more costly than Charlie and Paul's (from Image Works); also Image Works is a local company which always produces high quality prints.
Why wasn't an overall "picture" looked at while doing a cost analysis? Image Works has supported the community in numerous ways. Many times their business has been listed as contributors for various causes in Port. Both partners are helpful, informative, and knowledgeable.
Taxes and rents are high and I've noticed many empty stores in town. So isn't it time that we as a community support Charlie and Paul of Image Works and keep our town prosperous?
