Last week I submitted a letter encouraging members of the community to reaffirm their commitment to, and involvement in, a longstanding tradition and labor of love known simply as "The Gambol."
The Gambol 2007 committee has asked me to write this follow-up letter informing the community of a few developments.
The Gambol will remain a traditional gift, which we create, produce and bestow upon our children. Therefore, Harbor Links is no longer being considered as an option for the location of next year's Gambol.
The July 12th meeting has been relocated to the Schreiber cafeteria and only senior parents are invited to that meeting. However, I continue to encourage all community members with an interest in volunteering their time or in helping in any way, from fundraising ideas to cleanup, to contact the Gambol co-chairs at GAMBOL2007@aol.com.
I would like to thank everyone for your feedback and for reminding me that Port Washington continues to be a unique and wonderful place to live!
