Port Washington Youth Activities 16th annual fundraising dinner/dance, on June 9, is shaping up to be the social event of the year.

In addition to the Hall of Fame induction of Jimmy Kallenberg and Jim Beslity, the evening will feature an open-bar cocktail hour, dining, dancing, a silent auction and raffle prizes.

This year, PYA is thrilled to announce that some local residents and businesses have stepped up to absorb some of the event's costs: The Law Offices of Michael F. Mongelli II, PC has donated the cost of the cocktail hour; Joseph Gil Associates will pay for the musical entertainment and Arena Graphics has paid for the printing of the invitations.

Ticket sales have been brisk, so it is advised to purchase sooner than later; the past few years has been a sold-out event. The price is $115 per person and is tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

In addition, ad space is available in the dinner journal for businesses and individuals who wish to help support PYA and its work on behalf of the children of Port Washington.
