Raymond E. Saunders, of Guilderland, NY, passed away on April 23, 2006 at home after a long illness. Ray was a retired letter carrier and former resident of Port Washington. He is survived by his wife Helen of 61 years and his children, Kathleen (John) Mahoney, Elaine (Richard) Coons, Patti (Steve) Mitchell and Ray (Kelly) Saunders, Jr. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, John (Judy) Mahoney, Tim (Lisa) Mahoney, Kevin (Amy) Mahoney, Jen (Matt) Edwards, Ben Bogen, Aaron Bogen, Ricky Coons, John Petracone and Karson Saunders; and by three great-grandchildren, J.J., Duncan and Riley. He is also survived by three sisters and one brother.

Interment was held a Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.

Howard Cummings
Howard Cummings, of New Hyde Park, formerly of Port Washington, passed away on May 9, 2006 at the age of 57 after a lengthy illness. He leaves behind his loving wife of 25 years Judith (nee DeBari). He is survived by his mother Dorothy Whelan; brother Kenneth and Beatriz Cummings; sisters, Sharon Verity and Kathy Whelan; the De Bari family, Ralph and Lydia, Donald and Pat, Robert and Mary Ann Carlin; many nieces and nephews, great-nephew Jack and great-nieces, Olivia and Kailey. He was predeceased by his brother Patrick in June 2000. He was a long time employee of St. Francis Hospital and a graduate of Paul D. Schreiber High School Class of '67. Howie was an avid fan of the Rolling Stones and the Baltimore Orioles. He loved his flower garden and decorating for every holiday. He will be dearly missed. Interment Nassau Knolls Cemetery. Arrangements were made by the Fairchild Funeral Chapel, Manhasset.

Antonette Greco was born in Port Washington where she lived all her life. She died at home on May 15, 2006 at the age of 100 years. Antonette was predeceased by her husband Antonio to whom she was married for over 50 years. She worked at the North Shore Laundry and Goldsteins Department Store on Main Street. She is survived by her younger sister Mary De Vito and younger brother James Salerno Jr. She was an aunt, great-aunt and great-great-aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Interment was at Nassau Knowles Cemetery.
