Dorothy Lee Rogers, who lived in Port Washington for 58 years, died on Aug. 20, 2005, at the age of 82. Beloved wife for over 62 years of Luther Rogers Jr. Devoted mother of Harold T., Joyce and V. Elaine Gross. Adoring grandmother of Anesha Rogers, Alexandra Rogers and Alex Gross. Loving mother-in-law of Sandra Rogers and Jess Gross. Born Dorothy Lee Robinson in Raleigh, NC, Dorothy moved to Port Washington in 1947. She retired from Publishers Clearing House in 1999. The funeral was held on Aug. 23 at the Zion Baptist Church in Port Washington, where she was an active member. Interment at Nassau Knolls Cemetery.
