Edith Spivack, who recently passed away at age 95 (Port Washington News, 8/4/05) was a train companion on the 5:26 out of Penn Station for many years. Whether she was kibitzing the bridge games or exchanging quips with one of the many Port-bound commuters, Edith displayed an alacrity and zest for life that would do credit to someone half her age. She was one of a kind and will be missed.
