Recently I listened to all of his speech in search of any real plan or strategy. Instead our president who should be our leader is only a cheerleader. Americans know that the situation in Iraq is the same or perhaps worse than one year ago. More than 1,700 Americans have been killed and more than 12,000 wounded. It seems US presence is exacerbating the problem. Yet our president is not facing reality. This July 4th, I'll put my flag on my front porch, just like I do every year. I'll think of our troops in Iraq, just like I've done for the last four years. This July 4th, I'll have hope that next year will be better, but no presidential plan.
