Fred Lamac, 93, of Port Washington, died on June 24, 2005. He is survived by his wife Estelle; son Fred (Donna); granddaughters, Katie and Liz; nieces and nephews. Arrangements were made by the Austin F. Knowles Funeral Home, Port Washington. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter of Alcantara RC Church. Interment Nassau Knolls Cemetery.

Carolyn Fay Sporbert, 90, died on May 10, 2005 at the Bentley Village Care Center, Naples, FL. She was born on Aug. 1, 1914 in Port Washington, the daughter of the late Thomas R. and Belle (Velsor) Fay.

Carolyn was a retired clerk at Collier County Courthouse. She graduated from Syracuse University School of Management. She and her late husband, Curtis P. Sporbert moved to Naples over 40 years ago. She was a life member of Delta Delta Delta of Greater Naples. She was a Patron of the Arts in Naples, the Naples Humane Society and Cow Neck Peninsula Society of Port Washington.

Carolyn is survived by her niece Linda Pojeta of Northport and her cousin Sharon A. Kolor of Vero Beach, FL. Services and entombment at the Chapel of Peace, Naples Memorial Gardens. Contributions may be made to the Humane Society.
