Landmark on Main Street Names Honorees for "Gold Coast Gala XI"
Landmark On Main Street is pleased to announce the honorees for its annual fund-raising gala, GOLD COAST GALA XI: "Live From The Landmark Ballroom," which will be held Friday, Nov. 11, 2005 at The Reckson Center at the Museums at Mitchel-The Cradle of Aviation, Garden City, New York. Boat Moorings Still Available at Town Dock
Supervisor Jon Kaiman, Councilman Fred L. Pollack, and North Hempstead's Department of Parks and Recreation are reminding boaters that 20 moorings are still available at the Town Dock this season. The mooring season is April 15 - Nov. 1 and 20 spots are still available: eight spots for sailboats, and 12 spots for power boats.

On the Bay
Lake Travis in Austin, Texas was a busy place last week. That is where the 2005 Inter-Collegiate Sailing Association's (ICSA) North American Championships were held, an event that brings together sailors from 25 schools, representing seven North American districts, to compete in three distinctive events. The Southeastern Intercollegiate Sailing Association and the Austin Yacht Club hosted the week-long event, which included the Women's and Dinghy events, plus the Team Race Championships.
