Board of education members, Port school administrators and the Port schools teacher's union failed to appear at a public forum sponsored by the General Council of Homeowner Associations held on Monday, June 6 at the Port Library. Congratulations to The Girls Varsity Badminton Team for winning "The Nassau County Team Championship." After a very competitive season and three rounds in the county play-offs, the Ladybird Vikings once again clenched a county title. There is a lot to report about activity on Manhasset Bay over the past few weeks. In what seemed like an interminable wait for spring-like weather, we were finally rewarded for our patience with great weather.
