Port Washington's Devils had their best year since the team's inception, finishing the season in second place. The group of 16 boys and one girl earned their second place by not only playing tough but showing incredible team spirit and camaraderie on and off the field.
In their last game the Devils beat Uniondale's Angels who were tied with them going into the final game of the season. The Angels were caught off guard by the Devils' impeccable passing. At the end of the game Coach Warren and their team trainer Alex, praised their skills stating how all the practices paid off.
After the game both parents and kids headed off to Ginos for a victory party, knocking off over 12 pies. At the party both coach and trainer thanked the parents for all the hauling of their kids to all the practices and games.
The Port Washington Devils will most likely be moved up one division making the spring session even tougher for them.
