Lucy Ciccolella Gibbs (nee Catalano), 76, of Port Washington, died on Nov. 25, 2004. She is survived by her husband William; her children, Richard Ciccolella (Linda) and Robert Ciccolella (Kathy); her stepchildren, Maureen Ryan, Sue Budd (Russell) and Cathy Skibicki (Tony); grandchildren, Michael, Donna, Craig, John, Tammy, Tricia and Karen; stepgrandchildren, Danny and Alicia. Also survived by her sisters, Florence Caropolo (Jerry) and Helen DiFilippi, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Ann and her brothers, Michael and Thomas. All of her grandchildren loved her very much. Arrangements were made by the Austin F. Knowles Funeral Home, Port Washington. Mass of Christian burial at St. Peter of Alcantara RC Church. Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery. Ralph H. Sotansky Sr., 87, of Port Washington, died on Nov. 28, 2004. He is survived by is wife Nora; children, Elissa Zaragoza (James) and Ralph Jr. (Nora); his grandchildren, Whitney, Kathy, Sean, Timothy, Jared, Erica, Sally, Jean Ellen and Samantha; and his great-grandchildren, Justin and Maya. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter Jean Ellen Conneally. Arrangements were made by the Austin F. Knowles Funeral Home, Port Washington. Mass of Christian burial on Dec. 2 at St. Peter of Alcantara RC Church. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery. Donations in his memory may be made to the Port Washington Fire Medics Company #1, 65 Harbor Rd., Port Washington, NY 11050. Leslie A. Commons, DDS, (Les), 74, of Shelter Island, a former longtime resident of Port Washington, died on Nov. 28, 2004. He is survived by his wife Betsy; his children, Peter and John; and his grandchildren, Matthew, Kenneth and Mitchell. Also survived by his brother Richard (Phyllis), nieces and nephews. Les and his brother Richard shared a dental practice in Port Washington for many years. He was active in the Lions Club, Manhasset Bay Sportsmen's Club and the Port Washington Yacht Club. Arrangements were made by the Austin F. Knowles Funeral Home, Port Washington. Religious service at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church. Interment Nassau Knolls Cemetery. A memorial service in Shelter Island will be held at a later date. Donations in his memory may be made to the Lions Club, PO Box 169, Port Washington, NY 11050. Josephine DeFeo, 76, of Port Washington, died on Nov. 29, 2004. Wife of Anthony. Mother of Maria Cannela, Anthony Jr. and Augustine (Barbara). Grandmother of Christine, Jennifer, Michael, Amanda Rose, Matthew and John. Also survived by many relatives and friends. Arrangements were made by Fairchild Sons Funeral Home, Manhasset. Funeral Mass at St. Peter's RC Church. Entombment Holy Rood Cemetery. Angela Ann Yarri (nee Caparella), 82, of Port Washington, died on Dec. 1, 2004. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, James; her children, Richard (Mary Jane), Robert and Ann Peden (David); six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Mickey, Jennie and Christie. Arrangements were made by the Austin F. Knowles Funeral Home, Port Washington. Mass of Christian burial at St. Peter of Alcantara RC Church. Interment Nassau Knolls Cemetery.
