Public officials and community leaders recently gathered at the Town Dock to honor Sands Point resident Donald (Don) Axinn on the occasion of the Long Island premiere of Spin, a movie based on Axinn's novel of the same name. The film was directed by James Redford, son of Robert Redford, who also wrote the screenplay. It stars Ryan Merriman, Paula Garces, Dana Delany, Ruben Blades and Stanley Tucci. FULL STORY
