Ludmila Skaredoff, of Port Washington, died on July 14, 2004. Wife of the late Nikolai N. Mother of Michael. Mother-in-law of Christine. Grandmother of Peter, Elizabeth and Anna. Also survived by her niece Helen and nephews Igor and Vsevelod. Arrangements were made by the Whitting Funeral Home, Glen Head. Funeral service at Our Lady of Kazan Russian Orthodox Church. Interment East Hillside Cemetery. Kenneth E. Jones, 88, a lifelong resident of Port Washington, died on July 18, 2004. He is survived by three sisters, Audrey Slavinsky, Anita Sheridan and Ruth Lerhinan. Kenny lived with his family and as a youngster he was enthralled with Protection Engine Company #1. Due to health reasons he was not able to fulfill his dream of joining the company as a member, but he was able to help them with small chores and he was always welcome there. Kenny was affectionately known as "Popeye." Arrangements were made by the Austin F. Knowles Funeral Home, Port Washington. Logo
