I was glad to see the prominence placed on Richard McCabe's obituary by its appearance on page 3. But the obituary failed to mention: his 20+ year career at NY Telephone; his business partnership in contracting with his two brothers known as McCabe Contractors - he also built and managed private houses in Port; his managing Haven Marina in Manorhaven from 1991 until the present.

Richie was a gentleman of great integrity and generosity. Finally the obituary mentioned his widow but omitted his children, Richie Jr. and Laura Ann.
