David G. McCord, 73, of Port Washington, died on May 30, 2004. Dave graduated from Mount Hermon and Hofstra University, served in the Air Force (1952-57) and was employed at NickelPlate Railroad, management consulting, and enjoyed 28 years at Chemical Bank-Chase Manhattan as a systems analyst, retiring in 1999 as vice president. He is survived by Carol, his wife of 35 years; a brother, George G. of Bolivia, NC; two aunts, Ruth Davison and Helen Sarkisian; two nieces and a nephew; and five grandnieces. Arthur Eisenkramer died on June 8, 2004. Dearest husband of Carol for 63 years, loving father of Paul (Lynette) and Peter, beloved grandfather of Melissa Castro and Joel Eisenkramer. He was a resident of Port Washington for over 40 years.
Alice Kain (nee Heck) died on June 11, 2004. Mrs. Kain, age 91, resided in West Shokan and Port Washington. Wife of the late Edward. She is survived by her daughter Judith (Roy Coutinho) and granddaughters, Karthrin and Lara Coutinho. She was a bookkeeper for Squibb Pharmaceuticals and Pan Am Airways, volunteered for Girl Scouts, Van Wyck Congregational Church and PTA. A gardener, book-lover, craftsperson and traveler, she belonged to Pan Am Retirees Club and several environmental organizations. Arrangements were made by the Roslyn Heights Funeral Home.
