I would like to take this opportunity to tell you that I will not be running for trustee again. My family and I would like to move down south by the summertime. After living here over 27 years, I have seen a lot of changes take place. I enjoyed serving you and the community and feel that I have only made a small dent in what I have set out to accomplish when taking office two years ago. I would like to endorse Bob Weitzner and Steve Cohen as trustees who, through their dedication, will continue to bring leadership and good government to all. Bob Weitzner's expertise as a Certified Financial Planner has added much to the village and has changed the way we do business. Steve Cohen, a successful financial services and technology entrepreneur, is a CFP and former executive with several global investment banks. Steve's expertise in building businesses has given him essential leadership and organizational skills that will help him guide our village in a number of important areas.

Bob Weitzner and Steve Cohen are committed to working hard for you and listening to your concerns. Bob has exhibited tireless energy while in office, doing such things as organizing the Bay Walk Park Committee and creating the Community Garden that we see on Radcliff Avenue. He has submitted grants for various projects throughout our village, including one for Shore Rd. safety and traffic calming improvements and continues to search for ways to increase non tax revenues to our village. Steve has volunteered to work on several committees in the village including, The Village Club and Land Use Commission and is very concerned about smart growth for our village. Bob and Steve plan to attend many budget hearings and their input is invaluable to the village.

Bob Weitzner and Steve Cohen are assets to our community. They have young children and have a stake in this community. Both share a vision of giving back to the community. Bob's two years in office are a testimony to this, and he has much more to do. Steve is anxious to prove himself to the village and is looking forward to becoming a trustee.

I wish to thank everyone who voted for me as Port North Village Trustee. Please vote for Weitzner and Cohen so I can leave the village knowing that they continue to accomplish what I have started.
