On Monday, Dec. 15, my daughter who is 6 months pregnant slipped on the ice and fell on the Port Washington LIRR platform while walking to get on the 8:08 a.m. train to Manhattan. It was 5 - 6 minutes to departure.

Not a single person stopped to help or offered to get assistance.

How sad.
