  • News: Be Sure to Vote June 3 for BOE Budget and Board Members

    Next Tuesday, June 3, is the annual Board of Education Budget Vote and School Board Election. (Due to a statewide mandate, and in an unprecedented action, the date was recently changed from May 20 to June 3.) As usual, the vote will be held from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. in the Flower Hill/Weber Middle School, All-Purpose Room, on Campus Drive. FULL STORY

  • Sports: Girls Lacrosse Gives Valiant Effort

    The last team in the playoffs for Port Washington this year wasn't the baseball team, or the boys' lacrosse team, or even the boys volleyball team. It was the girls' lacrosse team, led by retiring Coach Mr. Roger Winter. However, the girls failed to move on last Wednesday, ending a terrific season and losing by only a handful of goals to a great Garden City team. With fabulous play during the season, and great possession play as well, the team can hold their heads high with pride for the great effort they put out on the field. FULL STORY
