As a lifelong resident of Port Washington North, I can't understand why there are candidates saying, "It's time for a change."

Why change? We're one of the lowest taxed villages in Nassau County, our services are excellent - street sweeping, snow removal and leaf pickup are fantastic. You show me a village that offers these services, which are part of our low taxes, and I'll show you a village that charges extra for these services.

Time for a change? The only things I think should be changed are the addresses of those malcontents who complain for the sake of complaining.

My neighbors and I will vote for the re-election of Mayor Tom Pellegrini, trustee Gary Levi and trustee Noel Ilberg. Our village deserves the best and they are the best.
