Landmark Gala Is Huge Success
"The Landmark on Main Street Gala, held Saturday, Nov. 9, at the newly renovated Jeanne Rimsky Theater, was a huge success, both artistically and financially," announced Gala Chairperson Dolores Ilardo. Record Turnout for PYA 5th Annual Golf Outing
On Monday, Oct. 7, Port Washington Youth Activities held its fifth annual golf outing, this year for the first time at the Village Club of Sands Point. The event was once again presented by Finn MacCool's restaurant through the gracious generosity of owner Connie O'Reilly.

Boys Basketball Prepared for Lift Off
"We are ready to win this division; we have a team that is very talented in many areas." This quote from guard Brian Moran typifies the type of enthusiasm that surrounds the entire Boys Varsity Basketball team. With an early crushing defeat to the defending state champs, Walt Whitman, the team looked frustrated, searching for an identity. However, it didn't take long as they put together two convincing wins over Plainview JFK and Island Trees. The squad has proved itself more than ready to make a run for a division title and possibly make some noise in the playoffs.
