Cecelia Krug died on Nov. 15, 2002. Wife of the late Norman Vincent Gallagher and John Krug. Mother of Vince Gallagher, Sharon Gallagher and Leslie Conklin (Warren). Grandmother of Brandon and Sean. Sister of Harriet, Olive, Ella, Edna, Diane and the late Neil and Billy. Arrangements were made by the Whitting Funeral Home, Glen Head. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Fatima RC Church. Interment LI National Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society. Eunice D. Cox, 91, of Paradise Valley, AZ, died Nov. 27, 2002 at her home. Born May 2, 1911 in St. Joseph, MI, she and her husband moved to Arizona five years ago from Port Washington to be near her daughter. She is survived by her husband, Raymond; daughter Carol Cox (Koos Schippers) of Paradise Valley; son William Cullen Cox (Rev. Diane Cox) of Wellesville, NY; three grandchildren, Christopher, Sierra and Josie; two nieces; and two great-nephews. Memorial services at the Messinger Indian School Mortuary, Scottsdale, AZ. Regina Jamison Hotarek died on Nov. 26, 2002 at the age of 82. Born in Long Island City, Regina married Rudy Hotarek in 1942 just prior to his departure for the war in Europe. Regina and Rudy moved to Port Washington in 1952 where they raised five children. Regina was an active member of St. Peter's Guild and was an active participant in numerous parish and community activities and charities over the years. She is survived by her husband, Rudy; three daughters, Gail Dwyer of Laurel Springs, NJ, Regina Hotarek of Port Washington and Christine Shepherd of Lawrenceville, GA; two sons, Brian of Scituate, MA, and Robert of Manhasset; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Arrangements were made by the Austin F. Knowles Funeral Home, Port Washington. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter's officiated by Monsignor Simmons. She was laid to rest at Nassau Knolls Cemetery. John Salerno, 62, of Port Washington, died on Nov. 29, 2002. John was a retired Port Washington Police Lieutenant. He is survived by his wife Barbara; his children Gary (Marie), Darryl Cherry (Anthony) and Michael; his mother Carmela; and many dear friends. Arrangements were made by the Austin F. Knowles Funeral Home, Port Washington. Religious service at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church. Interment private.
