American Legion Post #509 'Community American Flag Retirement Program'

As of this date the Port Washington American Legion Post #509 "Community American Flag Retirement Program" has had the privilege of retiring (247) American flags. We wish to commend all those Port residents who respect and honor the flag enough to go out of their way to deposit them in our retirement container, to ensure their proper retirement.

We also extend our sincerest gratitude to the Port Washington News for continuously printing our flag retirement notice, making the program as successful as it has been and hopefully, will continue to be.

Yours "For God and Country."

Arthur George

Commander

American Legion Post #509 of P.W.

Bob Click

Past Commander and Program Chairman
