The Port Washington PAL will be offering baseball for the summer 2002 season. The program is open to children entering third through seventh grade in the 2002-2003 school year. The schedule is as follows:
Baseball
You must attend the appropriate evaluation day. Teams will be made after evaluations. If you can not make it, please contact PAL so that your name can be placed on a roster.
National League (we will need a minimum of 48 players for the league).
Evaluations entering 3rd/4th and 5th grade
Pitchers and catchers - Wednesday, June 19, 5:30-6:30
All players - Thursday, June 20, 5:30-6:30
American League (we will need a minimum of 48 players for the league).
Evaluations entering 5th/6th and 7th grade
Pitchers and catchers - Wednesday, June 19, 6:30-7:30
All Players - Thursday, June 20, 6:30-7:30
**Children entering the fifth grade have the option to play either in the American or National League and should show up for the appropriate evaluation day.**
When: Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday nights - schedule TBD (National and American League)
Where: PAL fields
Time: 6:30 p.m.
Fee: $75 (includes shirt and hat)
Season will begin week of July 8 thru Aug. 9
Volunteer coaches always welcomed.
Registations can be mailed or dropped off at the PAL office at 325 Main Street.
