The Vipers (Boys U12) returned to their winning ways with a thrilling 1-nil victory vs. Hewlett. The winning goal was scored by Nick Balterman on an excellent give and go play with Will Rizzo. Rich Imperatore and Nick Kostalas were solid in goal for the shutout.

During the last two weeks the Xtreme (boys U10) have won two league games. First, they dominated Albertson by a score of 6-1. Goals were scored by Andrew Vasquez, Mark Catanzaro, Kyle Johnson, Evan Samson, Jesse Meyers and Peter Maxted. Albertson could not penetrate the tenacious defense of Andrew Keen, Liam Neville, Ross Balaban and Chris Huezo. Next, against Farmingdale, the Xtreme controlled the ball most of the game and won 3-2. Goals were scored by Liam Neville (2), and Jesse Meyers with a leaping header. Mark Catanzaro had an assist on a beautiful pass. Solid defense was delivered by Ross Balaban, Chris Huezo and Andrew Vasquez. As usual, Peter Maxted played a superb game in goal. The midfield was controlled by Ryan Elton, Taylor Kemper, Evan Samson, Jonathan Commisso and Kyle Johnson.

The Hurricanes (boys U12) started flat against the Northport Crusaders. However, reserves Spencer Irving at halfback and Sam Glickman at forward gave them a boost in the first half, helping keep the score knotted at nil-nil. In the second half, Matt Mohr made a near perfect corner kick to David Lee who punched it in for the score. Bruno Marques added an insurance goal late on a breakaway. Matt Weintraub came up large in his first start in goal of the season to record the shutout.

The intramural first grade boys team the Wizards has played two exciting games against the Burn and the Metrostars. On a gorgeous spring Saturday, the Wizards went head to head with a determined Metrostars team. Dylan Neville, Bobby Eilbacher and Chris Sreckovich scored goals. Jack McManus and Austin Kemper were stellar in defense. For the Metrostars, Nicholas Saporentzis, Brian Maraboli, and Jake Lublin were outstanding. The week before, in a very competitive game, the Wizards took on the Burn. Goals were scored by Craig Llewellyn, Dylan Novillo and Bobby Eilbacher. William Kerwick, Austin Kemper, Christopher Sreckovich and Jack McManus played great defense and in goal. Fo the Burn, Harrison Slutsky scored and Patrick Johns played aggressively. Ryan O'Donnell, Stephen Silver and Nathan Lefkowitz ranged all over the field.
